Billing & Payment

Remittance Processing - SoCalGas will provide remittance processing, exception payment processing, and funds deposit management to support gas utility and municipality systems.

After Meter/Pipeline Services

After Meter/Pipeline Services - Services include Design, Installation, Maintenance, Cathodic Protection, Pipeline Optimization System Modeling, and Operations Training for natural gas distribution and high pressure transmission systems.

Gas Storage Services

Gas Storage Services - SoCalGas will provide specialized services related to underground gas storage fields, focusing on Storage Field Selection, Reservoir Development, and Storage Field Operations Planning.

Gas Metering

Meter and Regulator Services - Services include design and construction of natural gas meter and regulator stations, as well as on-going maintenance management.

Meter Shop Services - Services include evaluation of meter life, records retention, testing, and repair for residential, commercial and industrial natural gas meters.

Meter Reading - SoCalGas will provide manual meter reading services for gas, water, or electric meters in areas contiguous to its service area. The service includes manual meter reading and electronic transfer of the data to clients for billing.

Operations & Technical Consulting

Gas Operations Improvement Services - SoCalGas will provide comprehensive consulting services for natural gas distribution, customer service, transmission and storage operations. Services include an Operations Assessment, Consulting, Design, and Project Management.

Engineering and Technical Services - SoCalGas' Engineering Analysis Center offers services in four specialized areas: Air Quality and Compressor Services, Material and Equipment, Applied Technologies, and Chemical and Environmental.

Research Contract Management System (RCMS) - A unique database system for managing utility RD&D projects, which enables high-level management of multiple projects in an easy-to-use, web-based browser format.

Transportation & Rate Management Software

Tariff Manager - A comprehensive database driven tariff management software system for utilities performs a variety of regulatory functions.

Equipment & Materials Sales

Salvage Sales - Southern California Gas Company has surplus equipment and materials available for purchase. Consumers and businesses alike may find our surplus a plus.
