SoCalGas will provide comprehensive consulting services for natural
gas distribution, customer service, transmission and storage operations.
Service elements include the following:
Operations Assessment
The first phase of this service offers a complete audit and assessment
of the operating policies, procedures, processes, workforce skills,
physical assets and technology in three major areas: Gas Transmission
and Distribution Operations, Storage Operations, and Customer Service
Operations. The audits will identify areas of cost reduction, system
enhancement to improve customer service and/or safety, and will also
include an assessment of compliance to DOT and other regulatory requirements.

The assessment phase will conclude with a report outlining all findings
and recommendations.
Project Management
Following the audit, SoCalGas may provide project management services
to implement recommended changes.
Specific Requirements
Customers requesting Gas Operations Improvement Services must provide
specific system, facility information, and key performance indicators
regarding the subject natural gas operations and submit to a SoCalGas
site inspection as part of the proposal process. The scheduling of
all services will be prioritized in a non-discriminatory fashion
in a manner such that the provision of such services will not interfere
with the ongoing business obligations of SoCalGas. Services available
only in the US and Canada.
Documentation and Pricing
Use of Gas Operations Improvement Services shall be subject to the
execution of a definitive agreement between the Entity and SoCalGas
which agreement shall contain SoCalGas standard provisions
regarding the specific services to be provided , pricing, assumption
of risk, indemnification, insurance and other appropriate terms and
conditions specified by SoCalGas.
Pricing of these services will be presented in a formal proposal
and will be based upon several factors including: scope of service,
size, location and integrity of natural gas system, account volume,
timing, and availability of resources. Pricing factors for Training
services include training topic, level, length and location of training,
number of training participants, and materials required.
Credit Requirements
All parties interested in pursuing these opportunities must provide
satisfactory evidence of creditworthiness and corporate responsibility.
