The Research Contract Management System (RCMS) is a fully integrated database (based on Lotus Notes/Domino) which can be used to track various research project attributes in a logical, organized manner. RCMS provides value to utilities, universities, research facilities, building/plant facilities managers, or other organizations that may need an easy way to keep track of critical information of multiple RD&D contracts such as:

• Current project status
• Project expenditures
• Co-funders
• Contractors
• Royalty commitments, etc.

RCMS data fields can be easily customized to meet the needs of prospective customers in almost any type of work environment (e.g., centralized or decentralized management structure). Additionally, the software can be integrated with existing accounting systems to simplify the invoicing/payment process.

Documentation and Pricing

RCMS can be licensed from SoCalGas. Users pay a one-time license fee plus a nominal annual software support fee. Software support is available through other vendors.
