2009 Commercial Rebate Program Announcement
Effective Jan 1, 2009, there will be funding available for rebates and incentives for qualifying energy-efficient upgrades and improvements that you make to your facility.

To qualify for a rebate, all purchase invoices or receipts must be dated between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009. All rebate items must be purchased and installed prior to submitting an application for a rebate. Qualifying rebate applications must be postmarked by December 31, 2009 or earlier to be eligible.

The Gas Company^SM offers more than just natural gas service to our business customers. We also have a variety of energy efficiency programs and services designed to help businesses like yours save time, money, and energy. Our programs for businesses offer incentives that could exceed $2.2 million per customer, per year.

Incentives and rebates are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please contact your Gas Company Account Representative or call us at 1-800-GAS-2000 prior to purchasing your equipment.

Industrial and Commercial Customer Programs

Business Energy Efficiency Program - Designed for industrial customers with equipment replacements or process improvements.
- Incentives up to $2,000,000 per premise, per year
- Custom energy analysis
- Energy efficiency recommendations
Commercial Food Service Rebate Program —The program offers rebates to qualified customers on qualified food service and commercial/industrial equipment including:
- Rebates up to $25,000 (per eligible account, per year)
Energy Efficiency Program for Commercial/Industrial Large Business Customers - Designed for large industrial, large commercial, and chain account customers who are doing equipment replacements or process improvements that are expected to save greater than 200,000 therms annually.
- Incentives up to $2,000,000
Express Efficiency - Open to both industrial and commercial customers, this program offers rebates on many energy-efficient gas appliances and improvements.
- Cash rebates up to $200,000
Savings By Design - Designed for industrial customers with new facilities or expansions.
- Incentives up to $500,000
- Custom energy analysis
- Energy efficiency recommendations
Vendor Participation Program - Allows suppliers and installers of insulation, steam traps, boilers and other qualifying measures to apply for energy efficiency rebates on behalf of their customers.
