Building Operator Certification Training Program

In association with the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council (NEEC), Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas SM) is offering classes in Building Operator Certification - Level I, in 2008. These courses are for experienced operators, and focus on equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

Building Operator Certification (BOC) Level I Course

BOC LEVEL I Certification is April 2008 through October 2008 and will be conducted at --

9240 Firestone Blvd.
Downey CA 90241

80 hours of training and project work in building systems maintenance. All classes are held from 8:30am to 4:30pm unless otherwise noted.

Building Operator Certification (BOC) Level II Course

BOC LEVEL II Certification is September 2007 through February 2008 and will be
conducted at the Energy Resource Center at 9240 Firestone Blvd. Downey, CA
90241.

60 hours of training and elective coursework in equipment troubleshooting and
maintenance. All classes are held from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm unless otherwise noted.

Discount Rates Available

The standard fee for these courses is $1,500, however, SoCalGas is offering the entire course for $1,095, with each additional participant from the same company paying only $795. The more people you enroll, the more you can save… not only on course fees, but also on the future energy-efficient operations of your facilities.
