The Performance-Based approach provides incentives for building homes that exceed the California Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24) by at least 15 percent. These homes can also qualify for the ENERGY STAR® for homes label, which is widely recognized for energy efficiency.

Through this program, Southern California Gas Company seeks to create a comprehensive case study portfolio of projects structured around three principles: energy, resources and the environment.
