In our continuing effort to help customers use energy more
efficiently, we have been offering a variety of energy efficiency
contracting opportunities through our 2006-2008 energy efficiency
programs. These energy efficiency programs are approved by
the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), and are
administered by the energy efficiency contractor, under a
contract awarded by Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas®).
On this page, you will learn about SoCalGas’ current
solicitations for competitive bids on energy efficiency programs.
You’ll also find information on current programs awarded
to energy efficiency contractors. Altogether, these programs
have a goal of saving 4.4 million therms of natural gas by
the end of 2008—enough to meet the annual needs of more
than 8,000 homes.
