The Gas Company is committed to creating ways to help customers manage their energy use and save money. To see families through these tough economic times, we offer the following helpful programs.

Get Extra Help

• Learn more about how payment arrangements work.
• If you need assistance paying your gas bill, the Gas Assistance Fund may be able to help.
• If you're income-qualified, LIHEAP (a federally funded energy assistance program) may help you pay your utility bill.
• Community resource assistance may be available by calling 211,* a free community referral service.

Save Money

• Save 20% on your monthly bill with the California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) program.
• Receive cash rebates on qualifying energy-efficiency upgrades or improvements made to your home.
• If someone in your household is seriously disabled or has a life-threatening medical condition you may qualify for additional gas at a lower rate through the Medical Baseline Allowance program.

Save Energy

• Find out about no-cost energy saving home improvements for qualified renters and homeowners from the Direct Assistance Program (DAP).
• Request a free energy efficiency and water saving starter kit.**
• Learn about conservation and appliance selection tips for nearly every room in your home.
