SoCalGas must receive the approval of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) for its energy efficiency programs as funded by Public Goods Charge (as authorized by PU Code Section 890-900). In 2002 and 2003 SoCalGas was required to report program progress quarterly and annually and starting in 2004 reports program progress monthly. This site contains key filings and reports in support of SoCalGas’ Energy Efficiency Programs and also links to other energy efficiency information resources.

On September 23, 2003 SoCalGas filed its statewide and local program extension proposals and partnership proposals for Program Years 2004-2005 Energy Efficiency Programs. Decision 03-12-060 approved these programs.
The attached documents are the proposed Program Implementation Plans (PIPs) which describe the energy efficiency rebate, audit and informational programs available to SoCalGas’ customers through December 31, 2005, and adopted by the Commission in D.03-12-060 and D.04-02-059. Revised PIPs were filed on February 2, 2004 to comply with Commission directives and the final approved PIPs will be posted as soon as they are available.
