Natural Gas Price Update

July Gas Price Outlook

Natural gas commodity prices have increased slightly over last month, but remain well below what they were this time last year.*

Help manage your energy use – use natural gas wisely!

Here are some steps you can take to help manage your energy use:

  1. An Energy Efficiency Survey to identify where you can reduce energy consumption in your home.
  2. Rebates to make your home more efficient. Rebates are available on qualifying high-efficiency dishwashers, clothes washers, water heaters, furnaces and wall and attic insulation. Some products even qualify for instant rebates at participating stores.

    • We also offer rebates for qualifying businesses and property managers and owners of apartments and mobile home parks. Learn more about our Multifamily rebate program or call 1-800-427-4400.
  3. A complimentary Home Energy Efficiency Kit, which contains a low-flow showerhead and three faucet aerators to help you save water and energy costs.

*Effective July 1, 2009, the procurement component of the core sales rate will increase 1.620 ¢/therm to 35.516 ¢/therm.
