Mail-In Rebate Program
Make your home more energy-efficient, comfortable and SAVE
with cash rebates from The Gas Company®.
The 2008 Home Energy Efficiency Rebate Program offers cash
rebates on qualifying energy-efficiency upgrades or improvements
you make to your home (or condominium, up to four residential
units). Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served
basis until funds are depleted. To qualify, energy-efficient
products must be purchased and installed on or after January 1, 2008, and applications postmarked by December 31, 2008.
The Gas Company is committed to helping you save energy.
Listed below are a list of products that are eligible for
a rebate, and the rebate amount. The amount and availability
of rebates may change during the year.
Please call 1-888-431-2226 BEFORE you buy
to confirm product eligibility and availability of funds,
and to determine if rebate applications are still being accepted.

‡ Measures receiving the SoCalGas rebate instantly,
at the point-of-sale, do not qualify for a mail-in rebate.
Applications must be postmarked by December 31, 2008. Please
keep a copy of your completed rebate application for your
records. Southern California Gas Company may verify the
energy-efficient product(s), customer eligibility and installation
prior to payment of rebate. Incomplete and/or incorrect
applications submitted cannot be processed and will be returned.
Re-submitted applications will be processed first-come,
first-served, based on the re-submittal date. The products
must meet the specifications listed on the Application Form.
If all program requirements are met, a rebate check is generally
mailed within 6-8 weeks, unless your application is selected
for verification, which may take additional time.

Rebates are provided to qualified customers on a first-come,
first-served basis until program funds are no longer available.
Not all ENERGY STAR-qualified appliances will qualify for
a rebate. An on-site verification of the products purchased
and installed may be required before the rebate is paid.
This program may be modified or terminated without prior
notice. The selection, purchase and ownership of any goods
and services are the sole responsibility of the customer.
This program is funded by California utility customers and
administered by Southern California Gas Company under the
auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission.
