Service Guarantee
Your Service On time – It’s Guaranteed
The Gas Company® understands that
your time is important, and we want to demonstrate our commitment
to be on time for service appointments. Effective April 1st, 2006,
whenever you schedule an appointment for our most commonly requested
services at least one day in advance, The Gas Company guarantees
that we'll arrive as scheduled or you'll receive a credit on your
next gas bill.
If we fail to meet your appointment, your gas account will be credited
$25 or $50, depending on the type of service you’ve requested.
This guarantee applies to appointments for both your home and your
business.
What Services Are Covered
The Gas Company’s service guarantee covers the most commonly
requested services, including --
• Service Turn-on
• Customer Service Orders (excluding furnace pilot lighting
and pilot closing)
• High Bill Investigation
• Meter Installations
How Do I Get The Guarantee?
You are automatically covered by our service guarantee when you
request any of the above services at least one day in advance. No
special requests or paperwork are required. Appointments can be
scheduled on an all-day basis, or for morning or afternoon periods,
typically 7:00 a.m. to noon or noon to 5:00 p.m. If you have a question
about whether the service order you’ve requested is covered
by the guarantee, simply ask the Customer Service Representative
taking your order.
How Do I Get Credit For A Missed Appointment?
If we miss our appointment with you, you will automtically receive
a credit on your bill the next month in the following amounts:
• Service Turn-on $25.00
• Customer Service Orders $50.00
• High Bill Investigations $50.00
• Meter installations $25.00
Although we strive to meet every service appointment, we are not
always able to do so. Emergency situations sometimes interfere with
scheduled appointments.
