Vice President, Supply Management and Logistics
Denita Willoughby is vice president, supply management and logistics for Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) and San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), Sempra Energy’s regulated California utilities. She is responsible for supply management, supplier diversity and logistics.
Willoughby previously served as regional vice president, external affairs for SoCalGas, where she led the company’s community relations, public affairs and media and employee communications efforts.
Before joining Sempra Energy, Willoughby held several leadership positions at AT&T, including vice president of external affairs, where she led the company’s government and community affairs activities in the greater Los Angeles area; vice president of television programming for the U-Verse division; and regional sales vice president for SBC Communications.
She serves as chair of the board of directors for UNITE-LA and is on the boards of the Center for Global Supply Chain Management at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and Vision to Learn. Willoughby has a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
