We are performing scheduled system maintenance to improve our services. During this time, some online tools and services will be temporarily unavailable. Customer Contact Center wait times may also be longer than usual during this period. We appreciate your patience as we complete these important upgrades.
Online Services & Tools Impacted
Some services will be unavailable during maintenance:
- My Account (online account access)
- Customer Service – Automated Phone System (Self-Service)
- Fumigation Portal
- Customer Assistance Portal
- Submeter CARE Portal
- LIHEAP-related services
- Energy Efficiency Benchmarking
Billing & Payments
You will not be penalized if you are unable to make a payment while systems are unavailable. Previously scheduled one-time and recurring AutoPay payments will be processed on September 8, 2026.
Payments can still be made through:
- Authorized third-party payment locations: Third-Party Payment Locations
- Mail (payments will be processed on September 8, 2026)
- Credit/Debit cards or electronic checks via Bill Matrix: Ways to Pay
Service disconnections for nonpayment are also paused during this period
Emergency and Essential Services Available During Maintenance
We will continue to respond to essential needs, including hazardous and urgent situations, to help ensure customer safety and critical operations. In an emergency, call 911 or our Customer Contact Center at 1-877-427-2200 for immediate assistance.
Temporarily Limited Services
The following requests will be deferred during system maintenance. If you attempt to submit a request during this time, you will be asked to call back once services resume.
- Routine service requests and non-urgent repairs
- Move-in and move-out service requests
- New service scheduling
- Non-urgent reconnections
- General billing inquiries
- Payment arrangements and credit and collections-related inquiries
- Self-service account updates

If you smell natural gas, suspect a leak, or damage has occurred, immediately evacuate the area and call us from a safe location: 1-800-427-2200
Call 911 promptly from a safe location if there is damage resulting in a natural gas leak that may endanger life, cause bodily harm, cause property damage, and/or if you are unable to contact SoCalGas for any reason.
For all other requests, please check back after September 8, 2026**, when service is expected to be restored.
