The purpose of the Portfolio Manager Web Services Authorization is to allow you, the customer, to exercise your right to choose whether to disclose your natural gas usage data to the building owner or landlord of the building in which you receive natural gas service.

Authorization of Access

If you authorize the sharing of your energy usage data, it may be reported to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in order to assist the building owner or landlord in complying with California Assembly Bill 1103 that requires disclosure of the whole building energy usage to prospective buyers of the building.

The authorization allows the building owner or landlord of the customer and the EPA to access the customer's gas meter usage data only for the purpose of calculating the overall energy use of the building.

You can contact the EPA at: EPA ENERGY STAR, 1200 Pennsylvania Ave NW, MC6202J, Washington, D.C. 20460.

Customer Responsibilities

Once you authorize the building owner or landlord to receive this information, you are responsible for ensuring that the building owner or landlord safeguards the personal information from further disclosure without your consent. You may revoke this authorization at any time by revising the form.
