What is a Continuous Service Agreement?
If you are a property owner or a property management company, you may request continuous service for one or more residential properties that you own. A Continuous Service Agreement (CSA) enables you to continue gas service to a rental property after a tenant leaves. Once the application is approved and we are notified that a tenant is vacating the premises, the meter will be read and gas service will be continued under your name without interruption. This will also exempt you from any future $25 service establishment fees for the addresses listed on your Continuous Service Agreement.

Frequently asked
questions
No. After tenants close their natural gas accounts, CSA property owners and managers will receive a SoCalGas bill prorated to the service end dates requested by the tenant. This is the only notification that CSA participants will receive regarding their tenants' requested account close dates. In order to receive this billing information, it is imperative that CSA property owners and managers promptly notify SoCalGas of any mailing address or property ownership changes.
Please call our Customer Contact Center at 1-800-427-2200 to change the CSA mailing address. This request may also be mailed, e-mailed or faxed to the Customer Correspondence Department at the address or fax number above.
Please call our Customer Contact Center at 1-800-427-2200 when you need to terminate your CSA. This request may also be mailed, e-mailed or faxed to the Customer Correspondence Department at the address or fax number below. Requests to terminate CSA should be made in addition to requests to stop natural gas service. Requesting the discontinuation of natural gas service or the closure of a SoCalGas account does not automatically terminate the Continuous Service Agreement.
