Construction Notification
SoCalGas will be in Santa Ana soon for a pipeline enhancement project.
SoCalGas is dedicated to maintaining the safety and integrity of our natural gas pipelines. We routinely perform various pipeline maintenance and safety tasks, including patrolling, inspecting, testing, repairing, and replacing pipelines. Enhancing our system helps us to continue to reliably provide the natural gas service that our customers count on.
Estimated start date: As early as March 30, 2026
Duration of work: Approximately 4 weeks (weather and other factors permitting)
Work hours: Monday through Sunday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Work area: Along Grand Avenue, north of Santa Clara Avenue, in the city of Santa Ana
What to Expect:
- Traffic control will be in effect for duration of project
- Trucks and heavy equipment will be in the area
- Construction noise from equipment and crews
While we perform this construction work, there could be the potential odor of natural gas in the area. We encourage anyone who has concerns to call us at 800-427-2200. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
