Agricultural


Agriculture Energy Efficiency (AgEE) Program 

AgEE serves agricultural SoCalGas customers by providing technical support in installing cost-effective solutions through a combination of strategic measure focus and driving customer awareness of both energy efficiency and non-energy efficiency natural gas equipment benefits. AgEE offers monetary rebates for qualifying upgrades and access to potential grant funding and financing options.

Commercial Building Energy Solutions & Technologies (C-BEST) Program

C-BEST targets SoCalGas business customers outside of San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange counties that use under 50,000 therms. The program can help pinpoint energy efficiency improvements that could reduce overhead operating costs, improve customer and employee comfort, reduce maintenance time and costs, as well as help save money and energy.

Commercial Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Program

SEM focuses on people, not just projects and equipment. The SEM team motivates employees at a participant’s facility to bring about energy-efficient changes with the goal of leading to long-lasting energy savings. The SEM program also helps with improvement of operational efficiency, potential energy savings, rebates, and incentives.

Large Commercial Program (LCP) 

LCP is an energy efficiency program that offers financial incentives for the implementation and verification of natural gas-saving technologies. The program supports a comprehensive list of upgrades and provides technical assistance and financing options.

Small Business Savings (SBS) Program 

SBS targets all small and medium customer facilities under 50,000 therms located in San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange counties. The program focuses on helping businesses lower their energy bill and improve competitiveness by saving energy through several program resources, including assessments, kits, and prescribed incentives.

Service RCx+ Program 

Service RCx+ helps large commercial SoCalGas customers improve the operations of their facilities by directly implementing no-cost retro-commissioning and optimization services. By participating, eligible customers could improve facility performance, realize energy savings benefits measured at the meter, track performance, and receive ongoing support to keep facility operations optimized.

Industrial


Industrial Energy Partners (IEP) Program 

The Industrial Energy Partners (IEP) program provides energy efficiency services, industry-specific technical assistance, and energy savings upgrades that could help your facility save on energy costs. The program is open to textile, wood, paper, mining, aerospace, machinery, asphalt, cement, minerals, metals, and plastic customers.

Industrial Savings, Training, Assistance, Rebate (Industrial STAR) Program

Industrial STAR provides incentives and rebates to industrial food and beverage customers. The program also provides audits and technical assistance to eligible customers to help them save energy. Industrial STAR offers rebates for deemed measures and provides incentives via a custom path to accommodate replacement of less efficient equipment with new, high-efficiency equipment or make comprehensive changes to the customer’s process that could reduce energy consumption.

Innovations To Industrials Strategic Energy Management (ITI SEM) Program

ITI SEM comes at no additional cost to your business. This program does not involve selling equipment or services, but focuses on providing technical support, incentives, and energy team coaching.

Refinery Gas Energy Efficiency Program (RGEEP)

RGEEP is available to eligible SoCalGas refinery customers within the SoCalGas service territory. The RGEEP is designed to deliver comprehensive and sustained energy savings through downstream energy and operational savings while helping build a culture to support energy management excellence within the organization focused on operational efficiency.

Multifamily


Comprehensive Multifamily Incentive (CoMFI) Program

CoMFI provides multifamily property owners and managers energy efficient solutions to help reduce energy usage and costs. CoMFI offers no-cost energy audits, property-specific energy reports, and incentive reservations for qualifying whole-building retrofits.

Multifamily Energy Alliance (MEA) Program 

MEA provides energy efficiency guidance and rebates for multifamily property owners and managers to help achieve their energy efficiency goals. MEA offers select no-cost upgrades, equipment rebates, and support in completing applications. The program’s rebates and direct installation of energy efficiency equipment are available for installation in the dwelling units and common areas of residential multifamily complexes located within the SoCalGas service territory.

Public


K-12 Public Schools Program (K12PSP) 

K12PSP provides eligible public school districts with technical assistance, operational support, maintenance planning, and no-cost energy efficiency natural gas storage water heater upgrades. To participate in the program, the end user must be a SoCalGas customer with an account located in South Los Angeles, San Gabriel, or San Bernardino.

Large Public Sector (LPS) Program 

LPS offers no-cost services to help you meet your energy efficiency goals by determining opportunities for energy savings and prioritizing according to your capital plans. LPS serves Local government, Federal government, K-12 Education, Special districts, Public-Owned utilities; Cities, Counties, County hospitals, Health districts, Transportation, Public housing, Water/Wastewater (not statewide), Correctional facilities (not statewide). These customers must have an active SoCalGas account and use at least 50,000 therms annually. State buildings are not eligible.

LivingWise® Program

LivingWise combines classroom learning with home retrofit and audit projects completed by sixth-grade students and their parents, providing a LivingWise Activity Kit for each customer.

Public Direct Install Program (PDIP) 

PDI is available to small and medium public facilities, local and federal government buildings, and K-12 educational facilities. Eligible customers may qualify for installation of no-cost measures and co-pay advanced energy efficiency measures.

Community Language Efficiency Outreach Direct Install (CLEO-DI) Program

CLEO-DI offers direct install services for eligible residents who live within the SoCalGas territory. Direct install services may include natural gas appliances and controls, water use retention products, as well as home and duct insulation.

Comprehensive Manufactured Homes Program

The Comprehensive Manufactured Homes Program provides direct installation energy efficiency solutions to SoCalGas customers residing in manufactured homes throughout the SoCalGas service territory. The program offers no-cost introductory measures and low-cost advanced measures that can be financed by outside sources. Eligible customers may receive enrollment assistance, needs assessment and consultation, direct installation measures (no-cost and co-pay), local agency energy and water measures where available, and financing options.

HERS Advanced Rater Training Program

HERS provides advanced training and education both in the classroom and online for trained and certified HERS Raters, energy analysts, and others involved in new and retrofit residential construction. Under the HERS program, trained and certified HERS Raters evaluate a home’s insulation, ductwork, heating and cooling system, windows, and other factors that affect energy consumption. A HERS rating can be used to determine eligibility for various energy efficiency incentives, rebates, tax credits, and financing options. HERS Raters can also help homeowners prioritize energy efficiency upgrades to help reduce energy costs.

Residential Advanced Clean Energy Program 

The Residential Advanced Clean Energy Program provides energy efficiency solutions to residential, single-family SoCalGas customers through the direct installation of basic and advanced energy measures. Eligible customers may receive enrollment assistance, a needs assessment and consultation, direct installation measures (no-cost and co-pay), local agency energy and water measures where available, and financing options.

Statewide


California Foodservice Instant Rebates Program 

The California Foodservice Instant Rebates Program provides eligible commercial customers of SoCalGas, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE), or San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) instant rebates on qualifying energy-efficient foodservice equipment for their businesses. Skip the paperwork and receive an instant rebate as a discount directly on your invoice when you purchase qualifying high-efficiency natural gas or electric commercial foodservice equipment from participating dealers. Qualifying equipment must be installed at a non-residential site that receives natural gas and/or electricity service from one or more of the California investor-owned utilities.

Comfortably CA Program 

The Comfortably CA program is a statewide energy efficiency program serving HVAC distributors with resources for specified high-efficiency residential and commercial heating and cooling equipment. The program does not offer direct customer incentives or rebates. It recommends choosing a qualified installation contractor to help you with your purchase decision.

Golden State Rebates Program

The Golden State Rebates Program provides instant rebate coupons for Air Conditioners, Smart Thermostats, Electric Heat Pump Water Heaters, and Natural Gas Water Heaters. Rebate coupons can be redeemed at participating retail locations (in-store or online).

Midstream Water Heating Program 

The Midstream Water Heating Program helps qualifying business owners and building managers purchase high-efficiency commercial water heating products at reduced prices and enables contractors to include lower-cost equipment in their bids. Distributors could receive incentives and program support for offering instant point-of-sale rebates to eligible commercial customers of SoCalGas, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE) or San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E).

Survey


Business Energy Efficiency Surveys (BEES) Program

BEES serves commercial, industrial, and agricultural SoCalGas customers by providing an inventory of their existing natural gas equipment and tailored energy efficiency recommendations. These recommendations can include information on estimated natural gas savings, cost savings, and rebates for energy-efficient natural gas equipment upgrades. BEES also provides customers with recommendations for eligible SoCalGas programs that align with their financial and energy efficiency goals.
