Candidate Expectations/Requirements
Education
- Enrollment in a four-year university Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program.
- Freshman-Graduate student. Must have at least one semester left before graduation.
- A 3.0 Cumulative GPA or above is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong communications skills. This position requires constant communication with people of various levels of work experience; must be willing to learn from others, be self-motivated to perform tasks that are simple or complex.
- Must be able to analyze significant amounts of data and develop multiple options and scenarios in reaching decisions.
- Must be able to manage and implement multiple projects and to coordinate assigned activities and individual projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferable.
- Must clearly and concisely communicate technical information and concepts in formal and informal settings with other departments in the company.
Availability & Other Qualifications
- Must be able to work onsite 3 days a week from primary work location.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation. This position requires travel to various locations as part of the internship experience. This includes site visits, tours, and networking events.
Year-Round Internship Hours
- Must be able to work 16-24 hours per week on a year-round basis. Opportunity to work 30-40 hours a week during summer break.
Summer Internship Hours
- Must be able to work 30-40 hours a week during the summer (10-12 weeks).

Yes, a resume is required to apply for all positions. Unless requested in the job posting, a cover letter is generally optional.
1 year assignment with the possibility to extend based on program need and budget.

You will work with your team on different projects. We will also hold events where interns will be able to network with peers and SoCalGas leaders, while learning more about our clean energy efforts.
