Christy Ihrig, Senior Vice President, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement
Christy Ihrig is senior vice president, communications and stakeholder engagement for Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) and San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E). Ihrig oversees internal and external communications, community relations and regional public and customer affairs for both Sempra-regulated utilities. Previously, Ihrig was vice president, corporate relations for Sempra with responsibility for the company’s corporate communications, brand and corporate citizenship functions. Ihrig also led Sempra’s corporate giving strategy, along with political reporting and compliance. She has a wealth of industry expertise and has held leadership positions across the Sempra family of companies.
