Public Workshop Notice
SoCalGas is hosted a public workshop to present the 2024 Research, Development & Demonstration (RD&D) program results and reviewed the 2025 RD&D proposed activities. It is also an opportunity to obtain input from stakeholders, including:
• The California Energy Commission
• GTI Energy
• U.S. Department of Energy
• Other organizations engaged in gas research and development regarding planned RD&D spending for the 2025 calendar year.

Lantec's MicroNOx Combustion Technology Can Reduce NOx Emissions
Join SoCalGas and Lantec Products for a webinar on Lantec's MicroNOx combustion technology, which significantly reduces NOx emissions. Lantec's technology is versatile and suitable for both domestic appliances and large industrial burners. In collaboration with SoCalGas and others, Lantec adapted this technology for residential use, aiming to reduce NOx emissions below 7 ng/J. The project exceeded expectations, achieving emissions of 1.82 ng/J and 0.96 ng/J for the MicroNOx retrofit furnaces.
