HomeServe/Home Emergency Insurance Solutions (HEIS)
We have a billing arrangement with HomeServe/HEIS, a national provider of optional home repair solutions. SoCalGas® customers who choose to purchase optional home repair plans that are administered by HomeServe will pay the monthly fee through their SoCalGas bill.
HomeServe/HEIS is not regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission and is not the same company as, or an affiliate of, SoCalGas. Your choice of whether to purchase these services from HomeServe/HEIS will not affect your current level of natural gas service from SoCalGas. As with any other purchase, customers should do appropriate research to determine whether HomeServe/HEIS' services are right for them.
HomeServe/HEIS Charges on Your Natural Gas Bill
If you've recently enrolled in a plan from HomeServe/HEIS, it may take up to two bill cycles (around two months) from the time you enrolled for their charges to appear on your natural gas utility bill.

HomeServe/HEIS Mailing Lists
SoCalGas does not share or sell customer addresses to third parties. If you've received a mailing from HomeServe/HEIS, please know that HomeServe/HEIS purchases mailing lists from a third-party vendor and that we do not sell customer addresses to third parties. In order to be removed from future mailings, please contact HomeServe/HEIS directly.

SoCalGas and HomeServe/HEIS
SoCalGas is paid a fee by HomeServe/HEIS for providing the billing and remittance processing services. The majority of this fee is then paid back to our customers through our rates, and helps keep rates lower than they otherwise could be.
SoCalGas goes through a formal process to select third party companies that provide energy-related or home-safety related products or services. If your company is interested in participating in this billing service, please contact the Program Manager at LineItemBilling@socalgas.com.
