Project Background
SoCalGas will be performing a pipeline enhancement project in the community of Wildomar. The project is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain the safety and integrity of our natural gas pipeline system.
SoCalGas routinely performs pipeline maintenance and safety activities, including inspecting, testing, repairing, and replacing pipelines. Enhancing our system helps us continue to provide the safe and reliable natural gas service our customers count on.
Project Status and Next Steps
Construction is expected to begin as early as September 21, 2026, and continue for approximately two months, weather and other factors permitting.
Crews will install approximately 2,700 feet of natural gas main along Bundy Canyon Road between The Farm Road and Oak Circle Drive.

Along Bundy Canyon Road between The Farm Road and Oak Circle Drive in the community of Wildomar.
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Work hours are subject to change due to weather and other factors.
What to Expect
During construction, customers and community members may notice:
- Traffic control measures along Bundy Canyon Road during work hours.
- Flaggers and lane closures to help direct traffic safely through the work area.
- Construction trucks and heavy equipment entering and leaving the area.
- Construction noise from equipment and crews.
- A potential odor of natural gas near the work area.
Anyone who smells natural gas or has a safety concern should call SoCalGas at 1-800-427-2200. Representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Customer Impacts
Natural gas service is expected to continue without interruption, and no action is required from customers at this time.
If a temporary service interruption becomes necessary, a SoCalGas representative will notify affected customers.
