To protect the integrity of its energy system, SoCalGas routinely performs various pipeline safety and maintenance tasks, including testing, repairing, replacing, and upgrading of its pipelines.

Castaic
On Saturday, December 27, 2025, SoCalGas detected a natural gas pipeline break in the community of Castaic.
Noble Ave
This property will serve as a permanent location for inspections and related equipment, allowing SoCalGas to move these activities off public streets and reduce future disruptions for neighbors and commuters.
