Jeff Walker

Jeff Walker is senior vice president, systems & technology, and chief diversity officer for Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), a Sempra regulated California utility. He leads the development and implementation of key technology and data analytics capabilities at SoCalGas, both in operations and administrative functions. Walker also oversees the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion organization and execution of SoCalGas’ Equity Action Plan.

Previously, Walker was senior vice president and chief administrative and diversity officer. Prior to that he was vice president of customer solutions and held several positions of increasing responsibility in information technology, major projects, and customer services.

Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in computer and information systems from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, and a master’s degree in business administration from Azusa Pacific University. He also holds a certificate in leadership from the University of Southern California.

He also has non-profit board roles with American Associations of Blacks in Energy, the National Utilities Diversity Council, and the Martin Luther King Community Health Foundation.
